I always assumed the double scoring tool was two lines next to each other but either way I cannot figure out why this would be needed!

It leaves 2 lines and I just don’t need 2 lines. I use the single one ALL the time. I guess if you have very heavy cardboard, it does make it easier to fold if you have 2 lines. But why not just make 2 score lines in DS? I would NOT get the double score wheel. The Deep Cut blade works GREAT on veneer! I can cut more intricate designs with the deep cut as apposed to the knife blade.
